3.3 - Things I Don't Like

Here are some things I don't like:

  • QWERTY keyboards
  • The number zero, and numbers ending with zero
  • Computer mice
  • Plastic packaging
  • Dial-up internet connections
  • Automatic transmissions
  • Red lights, especially red left turn arrows
  • Extraneous physical activity
  • Air temperatures not in the range 20 - 30°C (72 - 88?F)
  • Excessive "dead wax" on vinyl records
  • 33rpm 12" singles
  • McDonald's
  • Mental block
  • Football (any kind)
  • Electric stoves
  • Gas hot water
  • White snare drum batter heads
  • Toilets
  • 90-minute cassettes
  • Working under another person's authority
  • Any taximeter that's not a Schmidt G2
  • Telecommunication flagfalls
  • Mobile phone dropouts or non-coverage on major highways
  • 3/4 time
  • Buses
  • The fact that vinyl records are heavy
  • When the list of things you don't like
    is longer than the list of things you do
  • Thinking of things to add to these lists

  • Foods: avocadoes, melons of any kind, prunes, artificial sweeteners, meat cooked rare, alcoholic beverages, tea, coffee, Coca-Cola.

  • Music: Heavy Metal, Punk, Hardcore Techno, most so-called
    "Alternative" music, or anything containing lyrics which are
    defamatory to Scripture, or otherwise offensive.
